Supplemented earlier in the week thanks to a positive weather forecast, Hazarista loved the fast ground, quickening clear of her rivals at the two furlong pole to win decisively by two lengths.
By Barathea out of the winning Darshaan mare Hazaradjat, Hazarista had finished a close fourth on her seasonal debut at Leopardstown in March before winning her maiden at Gowran Park two weeks ago.
Her trainer John Oxx commented after the race: “I am not surprised she won because she loves firm ground… Her next race could be the Noblesse Stakes at Naas.”
