Friday 10 January 2025
The team at Haras de Bonneval are looking forward to welcoming visitors on both days of the Route des Etalons this year.
The French stallion operation of the Aga Khan Studs will open its doors from 10am on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th January, with the last stallion show scheduled for 3.30pm each day.
The four-strong roster is headed by leading French sire SIYOUNI, whose impressive roll of honour includes numerous winners of Europe’s most coveted Group 1 races, as well as one of the most expensive yearlings sold worldwide in 2024. Alongside him is ZARAK, who last year cemented his position as one of the best young sires in Europe, delivering two more Group 1 winners including a Classic winner and finishing the season second only to his own sire Dubawi by % Stakes winners to runners.
Visitors will also have the chance to see Champion Three-Year-Old VADENI and Group winning miler EREVANN, who between them covered almost 300 mares in their first season at stud in 2024 and whose first foals this year are eagerly anticipated.
After raising a total of €920 last year, a member of Au-Delà des Pistes will again be on hand to generate awareness and offer for sale VADENI caps, keyrings, USBs and books, with all proceeds raised going to the French racehorse rehoming charity.
Signage will be in place to direct visitors to the farm, or the address ‘905 route de Bonneval, 14270 Le Mesnil Mauger’ can be used for satellite navigation.
