with all the horses finding buyers for a total of 215,900 Guineas.

The top price of 85,000 Guineas was attained by SHABAHAR (Lot 762). This Hernando colt is from the family of Shergar, and his second dam Sharamana was the winner of the Gr 3 Prix Minerve. SHABAHAR has already won one race this season as a three-year-old and he was acquired by Sussex-based agent Paul Naughton.

Blandford Bloodstock was responsible for the next two highest prices, ERDELI (Lot 759) who was knocked down for 56,000 Guineas and RAJNAGAN, who followed ERDELI through the ring as Lot 760, who made 34,000 Guineas. Blandford Bloodstock's Tom Goff commented, "I always like buying horses from John Oxx's stable. ERDELI is a lovely scopey colt who is a good mover. He will go into training with Paul Webber and I think he should turn into a nice dual-purpose horse in the future." ERDELI is a three-year-old son of Desert Prince and Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Edabiya, who is a half-sister to Gr 1 winners Enzeli (Ascot Gold Cup) and Ebadiyla (Irish Oaks & Prix Royal Oak).

RAJNAGAN is a three-year-old Muhtarram colt who has won one race. His dam's half-brother Earth Man is a useful jumper who is the winner of two National Hunt flat races and one hurdle. RAJNAGAN now heads to France as Goff explained, "He will join the yard of Eric Danel, who is planning to campaign him on the all-weather at Deauville."
