This summer’s Prix Morny winner Arcano and dual Gr 1 heroine Dar Re Mi are both progeny of AK-bred mares purchased at public auction and breeders will have the opportunity to invest in more quality females as a total of 25 fillies out of training and broodmares are entered in the forthcoming Goffs November Breeding Stock Sale.
Some of the most attractive Aga Khan entries in the Goffs Sale are:
Lot 1016 Zariliya (Darshaan), a winning full sister to Gr 3 scorer and sire Zayyani, dam of two winners including Gr 1 placed hurdler Zarinava. She has been covered by Zamindar.
1020, ARAMEEN, a Halling half-sister to Azamour and Arazan who is already the dam of one winner, and is in foal to Oratorio.
1023 Elasouna (Rainbow Quest), a winning full sister to Gr 1 winner Edabiya and a half sister to Gr1 winners Enzeli and Ebadiyla. She is carrying a foal to Arc de Triomphe winner Dylan Thomas. From the same family, unraced lot 1017 Elouana is a daughter of Edabiya and is expecting a Muhtathir foal.
Once-raced lot 1072 KALAROUNA (Selkirk), a half-sister to international Gr 1 winner and sire Kalanisi, and lot 1073 Kastalana (Key Of Luck), an unraced daughter of Gr 3 winner Kassana and a half-sister to Gr 1 Irish St Leger scorer Kastoria. Lot 1248 Dabirana (Daylami), a winner at two and Listed-placed, she is out of Listed winning dam Dabaya who has also produced Dabiroun, a pattern performer under both codes.
Hector Protector mare Hasaiyda (lot 1018) and Doyoun mare Zarabaya (lot 1021) are both in foal to Aga Khan sire Azamour, who has experienced a successful season in 2009 with his first juveniles. The former won two races and her first offspring was placed this season at age three, while the latter, a half-sister to black-type winning racemare and dam Zafadola, has produced two winners including Listed performer Zarafsha and 6-time scorer Zaranal (Sinndar).
