A small but select draft of three-year-olds from the Aga Khan Studs will be on offer at the Goffs Autumn Horses In Training Sale on 1st November.
Recent Aga Khan graduates from the sale include Tashkhan, who was sold for €11,000 in 2020 and has since won three races for his new Irish connections, as well as placing second to Trueshan in the Gr.2 British Champions Long Distance Cup.
Zanahiyr meanwhile was sold privately at the end of last year, and is now a Grade 2 winning and Grade 1 placed hurdler for the stable of Gordon Elliott.
This year’s draft is highlighted by lot 104, Erzindjan (pictured), a son of Lope De Vega out of the Listed winning mare Eshera. The colt won one race as a two-year-old and another at three, and was second in the Gr.3 Amethyst Stakes and third in the Listed Platinum Stakes earlier this year. His family is that of Champion 3yo Filly in Ireland Ebadiyla and Gr.1 Ascot Gold Cup winner Estimate.
Lot 105, Kalaroun, is a colt by Starspangledbanner and a winner at Dundalk since the catalogue was printed. Another winner, Silaiyli, an Olympic Glory half-brother to Group 3 winner Sonaiyla, will follow through the ring as lot 106.
Lot 103, Ebasari, is a gelding by Lope De Vega out of Stakes performer Ebayya, who placed on his most recent outing this summer.
