The Aga Khan Studs will once again be presenting a draft of horses at both the Goffs and the Arqana February Sales.
In 2023 there were three Stakes winners out of Aga Khan mares previously sold at the Goffs February Sale, including Group winner and Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat fourth Indestructible.
Five fillies and mares will be consigned this year. They include Timana, a 3yo filly by Footstepsinthesand who has placed second on debut since the catalogue was printed; Zindara, a SIYOUNI filly related to juvenile Group winner and leading 2024 hope Zabiari; and Shumaila, whose family has proved a successful one for purchasers recently via the likes of Group 1 winner Bay Bridge, Group winning juvenile Lakota Sioux and Group 1 runner-up Sheraz.
A draft of five three-year-old fillies will head to the Arqana February Sale. Among them are Dourdaniya, a half-sister to 2023 Stakes winner Douriann from the prolific family of Daryakana; Manshina, a daughter of Teofilo out of three-time Group 1 winner Mandesha; and Vedissa, a SEA THE STARS filly out of a Stakes winning half-sister to the dam of VADENI.
