as well as French champion hurdler Zaiyad and multiple Group winner TASHELKA, the Aga Khan Studs are now offering some 14 individuals for private sale on their website. The 14 three-year-olds include representatives of several leading Aga Khan families, that are closely related to top-level performers both over the hurdles and on the flat.

Some of the most interesting of these unraced youngsters are Karasenir (Sendawar), out of Karasta, a Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed as a juvenile, who has already produced one winner, and Kartanian (Kalanisi) who is half-brother to last year’s Group 2 scorer and Group 1 placed Katiyra and out of dual Listed and Royal Ascot winner Katiykha. Zalakar (Marju), a son of Classic winning mare Zalaiyka and a half-brother to three winners, is currently in full training with Alain de Royer Dupré in Chantilly.

Among the fillies, major attractions are Dalarna (Bahri) and Zariyka (Kalanisi). Dalarna is out of a half-sister to both Group 1 winner and sire Daliapour and Group 3 winner Dalampour, and her second dam Dalara, a Group 2 victrix and Group 1 placed, is half-sister to leading sire Darshaan. Zariyka is from the family of Prix de Diane heroine Zainta, dam of ZAYNAR, and she is a half-sister to multiple winner and Group 1 placed hurdler Zarinava who won on the flat last Sunday at the Curragh. Another appealing filly is Firoza, the first offspring of a full sister to Group 1 winner and sire Fragrant Mix and to four other Pattern performers. She is out of a half sister to the 2008 Arqana breeding stock sales topper, Alpine Rose.

Further details, including full pedigrees, size, colour, location etc of this blue-blooded selection of seven fillies and seven colts and geldings are available on the sale section of our website
