1975 b. f. Abdos - Iroma (Iron Liege)
Eunomia was yet another reward of the Marcel Boussac package.
A direct descendant of his 1942 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches heroine Esmeralda, Eunomia was a typically inbred Boussac product, containing two lines of his flagship stallions Djebel (3x3) and Asterus (4x5) as well as three lines of Djebel’s sire Tourbillon (5x5x5) and four lines of Asterus’ sire Teddy (5x4x5x6).
Eunomia foaled Italian Group 1 winner Erdelistan but her gift to the Aga Khan Studs was as the dam of 1984 Prix de Royallieu winner Euliya, from the first crop of Top Ville. It is from this line that the 2015 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches heroine Ervedya emerged. As a first-crop daughter of Siyouni, a product of the Jean-Luc Lagardère stock, with the influences of Top Ville, a representative of Francois Dupré’s breeding, and Marcel Boussac further back, Ervedya encapsulated the Aga Khan Studs and its cultivation of differing families.
There are several representatives of this family, all descending from Ervedya’s dam Elva, within the Aga Khan studbook. Ervedya’s high-class son Erevann also stands as a stallion at Haras de Bonneval.
