Azimpour is a son of Azmiyna, a half-sister to Azamour and dam of five-time Group 1 winner The Autumn Sun as well as Stakes winning Siyouni filly Azada.
This Dubawi colt made a winning debut in a newcomers race at ParisLongchamp in October.
Pitched straight into Group company for his seasonal reappearance in the Gr.3 Prix La Force, Azimpour surged from the rear to finish a strong second, failing to catch the winner by only a neck.
After two more starts in Group company, which included a fast-finishing fifth in the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club, he picked up his first blacktype victory in October 2025 when running out the winner of the Listed Grand Prix du Nord at Chantilly.
